The 2007 postmark was designed by Marley Jahn, a member of the Heritage Hills High School class of 2007. She is now attending Purdue University majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Santa letters and postmarks

The Santa Claus, Ind., picture postmark is now available. Although customers Mail stamped and addressed Christmas cards to the post office packaged in a sturdy envelope or box and mail to:

Postmaster
Santa Claus Station
Santa Claus, Ind. 47579-9998

The picture postmark must be requested by the customer. Allow at least a 2-by 4-inch space in the stamp area for the postmark. Postmarking is free, but there is a limit of 50 per person per day through Dec. 24.

Children writing to Santa should address their letters to:

Volunteers at Santa's Post Office respond to about 10,000 children a year who write their requests to Santa Claus.

7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast with Santa at the United Methodist Church Campground.

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Christmas craft show and pictures with Santa at Santa's Lodge and the American Legion.

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Open House at the Santa Claus Museum.

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Santa Claus Town Hall Open House.

1:00 p.m. Christmas in Santa Claus Parade.

2:30 p.m. Family Holiday Movie at the Santa Claus United Methodist Church.

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Holiday Concerts at Santa's Lodge.

5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Festival of Lights at Christmas Lake Village. This will also be on Sunday, December 9th.
